An awaiting and joyful Canada Immigration news arrived for Canadian Aspirants this week. This Canada immigration news was about a Provincial nominee program which gave a boost to many Immigration Aspirants Chances of Immigrating to Canada. This Canada Immigration News States about one of the provinces in Canada Known as “Saskatchewan”.
Saskatchewan held two draws through the Express Entry pool and Occupation In-Demand immigration sub-categories announcing a total of 150 invites.

The Saskatchewann Immigrant Nominee Program(SNP) exercises its own Expression of Interest points framework to assign nominees in its Saskatchewan Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories.

Saskatchewan’s August 15 provincial nomination draws are 45 Express Entry, 105 Occupations In-Demand.
Applicants should have a minimum Saskatchewan Expression of Interest score of 78.
Candidates obtain a score out of 100 based on factors including their education, skilled work experience, English proficiency or French and links to Saskatchewan. The highest-scoring applicants in both sub-categories are then invited through regular draws from the pool.

Express Entry
Saskatchewan’s Express Entry pool is connected to the federal Express Entry system. Applicants who are previously in the Express Entry pool and who satisfy the qualifications to get in Saskatchewan may be picked for a provincial nomination.

Express Entry applicants with a provincial nomination get an additional 600 points toward their score of Comprehensive Ranking System. Given that most federal draws need CRS scores over 400, a provincial nomination nearly ensures an ITA(invitation for apply) for permanent residence.

Occupations In-Demand
Applicants suitable for the Occupation In-Demand sub-category who get a provincial nomination have their applications for Canadian permanent residence prepared outside the Express Entry scheme.

Even though an employment offer is not required for this sub-category, an important qualification necessity for both the Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand sub-categories is to have experience in one of the 19 occupations currently classified as in-demand within Saskatchewan.

The SINP has announced 1,789 invitations through its Occupation In-Demand sub-category, and 1,315 in its Express Entry sub-category.

The invitations which are published in the August 15 draw (150) shows a marked decrease from the early draw on July 24, which saw 381 invitations published.
