- Visa may be issued after a year of application

Permanent Partner visa (Subclass 100)
After 2 years of getting temporary visa one can apply for this Subclass 309 visa

- You must have been in a relationship with your Australian Sponsor.
- You must have lived in Australia with your partner for more than 2 years.
Temporary Partner visa (Subclass 820)
One can be converted to PR via the Subclass 801 visa
Who is it for?
- You must be married or must be in relationship with your partner for longer period of time
- While applying for this visa you must be in Australia
Your sponsor need to be either an Australian citizen, PR or must be citizen of New Zealand
Permanent Partner visa (Subclass 801)
After 2 years of getting Subclass 820 visa one can apply for this permanent partner visa
Who is it for?
- You must hold the Subclass 820 visa.
- You must have been in a relationship with your Australian Sponsor.
- You must have lived in Australia with your partner for more than 2 years.
Prospective Marriage visa or Fiancé visa (Subclass 300)
- Visa permits you to stay in Australia for 9 months
- In Australia you can marry your partner
Who is it for?
- If you are engaged to an Australian citizen, Australian PR, or citizen of New Zealand.
- If in a relationship, you must have lived together for at least for a year
- Within 9 months of arrival in Australia you plan to marry your partner
