What is Federal Skilled Worker Program ?
The Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), is one of the most popular immigration routes to Canada for skilled workers from around the world. Many workers come to Canada for their skills in a particular profession & its ability to contribute positively to the country’s economic growth.
The FSW program is primarily aimed at professionals who want to immigrate to Canada and establish their permanent residence. Applicants can choose to apply alone or with their spouse and dependent children. The process can take up to 6 months from applying to receiving your PR cards.

Step 2: Gather Required Documents
To create your Express Entry profile, the following documents are necessary:
A valid, unexpired passport to prove your identity
Proof of valid English or French test results to prove your language skills
Documents to prove family ties such as Marriage certificate, birth certificate if applying with spouse & dependent children.
Documents such as tax returns, payslips, account details for proof of financing.
Step 3: Submit An Application
This is the most crucial step for submitting an application to Express Entry. It can be helpful to follow the guidance of an experienced immigration consultant at this stage, as mistakes can delay the process or make it difficult to get everything together. to submit your profile to the IRCC website if you wish to do it yourself.
Step 4: Get The ITA From IRCC
Once you have completed your application and your application has achieved the minimum score for the CRS in the Express Entry Draw, you will receive an Invitation to Apply from IRCC.
You have up to 60 days after receiving the ITA to submit a complete application. If your CRS score is below the threshold required to receive an ITA, consult our advisor to improve your CRS score.
You must be examined by a doctor listed on the IRCC Medical Board and obtain a police clearance certificate to show you have no medical or criminal grounds for entering Canada.
This step is performed by a Canadian immigration officer who will review your application in detail and let you know if any additional documents or clarifications are required from you. Once this step is successfully completed, you will receive a confirmation of your Canada PR Visa.
Step 7: Receive Canada PR Visa Card
Once you have received your confirmation of PR or COPR status, you can travel to Canada & have it stamped at the port of entry. Once stamped, you have PR status and can apply for a Canadian PR Visa card, which can be used as proof of your status in Canada.
